A second tiebreaker was needed to decide the winner of the Brandywine Round Robin Saturday.

Both teams went 1-1 on the day and scored four goals in their victories. The second criteria was goal differential. The Shamrocks were a plus three, while the Bobcats were a minus two, giving the trophy to Berrien Springs.

The Shamrocks blanked the Bobcats 4-0 in the opening match of the tournament, but lost to Saugatuck 1-0 in the second round.

Brandywine got three goals from Zach Schmidt and a goal and an assist from Dominic Stella to defeat Saugatuck 4-2.

Alex Ulrickson also had an assist in the Bobcats’ victory.

Keeper Brock Hartline had 12 saves in the two matches.
