COMSTOCK – The South Haven Rams swept both the boys and girls titles at the Wolverine Conference cross country jamboree hosted by Comstock Tuesday.

The Rams defeated the Dowagiac girls 22-35 and the Dowagiac boys 45-49.

The Chieftain girls picked up a win over Comstock, which did not have enough runners to field a full squad, while the boys fell to the Colts 23-36.

The top finisher for the Dowagiac girls team was Holly Luth, who was fifth with a time of 25:04.86. Christina Preston was sixth (25:07) and Rachel Bailey seventh (26:16). Paige Schaus was 10th (27:43).

Ben Thompson was the only Chieftain to crack the boys’ top 10 as he finished ninth with a time of 20:56.
