BRONSON — Alex Brooks and Jordan Hunt were the lone doubles winners for Brandywine against Bronson Saturday.
But a 6-0, 7-6 win over Austin Pierson and Darron Smith at No. 2 doubles allowed the Bobcats to salvage a 4-4 tie with the host Vikings.
Michael Robbins, Chance Smith and Tanner Bourdon were all straight set winners in singles action.
“We didn”t win, but I know the kids tried hard out there today,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “With young teams there is going to be some inconsistencies and today was one of those times.”
