Ida B. Jordan, 77, of Buchanan, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1935, in Montgomery, Ala., to the late James and Pearl (Jones) Tompson.

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Brown Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
