Bucks play to 3-3 draw with South Haven

BUCHANAN — Visiting South Haven and Buchanan played to a 3-3 draw in non-league soccer Tuesday.

The Rams (2-1-2) scored all three of their goals in the opening 40 minutes of play and led 3-1 at halftime after a goal by the Bucks’ A.J. Reed in the 20th minute with an assist from Kevin Dey.

Buchanan (1-1-1) rallied for the tie with two goals in the second half.

Carsten McCarty made it 3-2 in the 43rd minute on a penalty kick and then Blake Graber knotted the score at 3-3 in the 67th minute. McCarty and Dey both assisted on the game-tying score.

South Haven outshot Buchanan 34-7 in the contest.
