The Niles tennis team capped off a nice opening day with an 8-0 win over visiting Mishawaka Wednesday.

After defeating cross-town rival Brandywine in its first match of the season, the Vikings blanked the Caveman 8-0 in the last match of the day. In between, the Bobcats defeated Mishawaka 5-1.

Niles swept the singles flights and won both of the doubles flights that were contested on the court. The Vikings received forfeits from Mishawaka at No. 3 and No. 4 doubles.
