Rachelle E. Anderson, 54, of Cassopolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo.

She was born Sept. 27, 1957, in Niles to Earl and Virginia (James) McNary. She married Roger Anderson on May 27, 1990, in Cassopolis. He survives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rachelle loved being a servant of Jesus Christ and was a missionary to her very heart.

Rachelle will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Anderson, of Cassopolis; three sons, Tirrell Askew, of El Paso, Texas, Tremain Askew, of Las Vegas, Tracy (Virginia) Askew, of Killeen, Texas; two grandchildren, Tayshaun Askew and Naima Askew; one sister, Regina (Gene) Tierney, of Elkhart, Ind.; one brother, Dennis (Linda) McNary, of Mishawaka, Ind.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Church of Cassopolis, 520 Pearl St., Cassopolis, with Apostle Christopher J. Pittman officiating.
