Harold A. Reid, Jr., 54, of 1447 Barron Lake Road, Niles, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles, of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 10, 1958, at Huhn Air Force Base, West Germany, to Harold Sr. and Ruby Reid. He was a member of Coulter’s Chapel Church of God in Niles and worked in automotive body repair. He was a lifetime area resident.

Harold’s mother, Ruby Reid, preceded him in death on June 12, 2008. Surviving family include his father and stepmother, Harold A. (Billie Maxine) Reid, Sr. of Buchanan; daughter, Taylor Gentry of Niles; and three brothers, Mikel L. Reid, Anthony C. Reid and Troy C. Reid, all of Niles.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, at Coulter’s Chapel Church of God in Niles, with visitation one hour before the service at the church. Pastor Louis W. Staubs of

Coulter’s Chapel Church of God will be officiating the service. Burial will take place in Coulter’s Chapel Cemetery.
