The Cass County Council on Aging’s Annual Cookout for Seniors is slated for Friday Aug. 17. The cost is $2 per person, with all food provided.

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. at the Darlene Lowe building at the Cass County Fairgrounds with entertainment provided by Al Mott. Lunch will begin at noon with bingo afterward.

To make the event easier for everyone, this year’s cookout will not include a potluck.

Shuttles will also be running between the parking lot and the building so that people can use their energy to enjoy the day.
