The next monthly, free community dinners hosted by the Cassopolis United Methodist Church (CUMC) are Aug. 18, Sept. 15 and Oct. 20.

All dinners are held in the Wood Fellowship Hall of the church, 209 S. Rowland St., Cassopolis, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

In the past, the dinners have alternated months between the church and the Vandalia Village Hall. The CUMC dinner volunteers hope that folks from both communities, Cassopolis and Vandalia, will continue to join them every month at the Cassopolis site. Additionally, the CUMC dinner volunteers are willing to assist any Vandalia area church or organization that would like to continue the dinners in the Vandalia Village Hall. The entrace to the fellowship hall from the O’Keefe Street parking lot. An elevator is available. Cash or food donations are accepted, but not required.
