Dora Combs, 87

Dora Maxine Combs, 87, of Canton, Ga., passed away July 18, 2012, at Cameron Hill Assisted Living Facility in Canton.

She was born in Phelps, Wis., then later in life she and her husband moved to Niles, where she was the office manager of their business, Combs Chiropratic Clinic, in Jackson and Niles. She came to Hudson, Fa., in 1981, but then moved to Canton, Ga., to be close to family.

She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Hudson, Aripeka Ladies of Elks 2520, Hudson & Moose Lodge 1747, New Port Richey.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Jerome R. Combs, Westminster, S.C.; two daughters, Colleen Phillips, Marietta, Ga., and Dr. Laurie Gibbons, Canton; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday with a service at 5:30 p.m. conducted by the Moose Lodge, at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey.

The funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson.
