To the editor:

On Aug. 7 the voters of Silver Creek Township will elect a supervisor for the township.

There are two candidates for the position, Mr. Lozada and Mr. Bill Saunders, our current supervisor.

This position is extremely important to the future of Silver Creek Township, so before you vote be sure to look at the qualifications of each candidate.

The position of supervisor is no longer a part-time job.

It is a fulltime job.

A great deal of time is spent going to state seminars, studying new legislation; and dealing with both state and county officials. Also, the position requires the person to be available at the township during the week.

Our current supervisor is available from Wednesday through Saturday.

Make sure the person you vote for has the experience and time to devote to this office.

You cannot treat this position as a part-time job.

It is very important that we return Bill Saunders to the office of supervisor.

I might also add that we need Mr. Goodman for commissioner.
