Eugenia Grace (Benedict) Martin, 83, of Corunna, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Memorial Health Care, Owosso.

She was born April 23, 1929, in Cassopolis, to Frank and Marie (Van Riper) Benedict. She married John Martin on July 11, 1959, in Redford Township, Mich. He preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Martin.

Eugenia will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by: one sister, Louise White of Cassopolis; one niece, Elaine (Ingmar Au) White of Martinique, F.W.I.; and one nephew, Bill (Susan) White of Jones.

Family and friends will gather for a service at 1p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Owosso Church of the Nazarene, 1865 M-52, Owosso, with the Rev. Rodger D. De Vore, lead pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Martin’s remains will be laid to rest in Van Riper Cemetery, Cassopolis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. Online condolences may be posted at wagnercares.com.
