Rowe-Isabel

Kaleigh Rowe, of Buchanan, and Karter Isabel, of Niles, announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tammy and Roger Rowe. Her grandparents are Ed and Karen Kline and Sharon Garner, and her great-grandmother is Barbaradine McCuddy. She graduated from Buchanan High School in 2008 and from Lake Michigan College in 2012. She is a registered nurse.

The groom-to-be is the son of Julie and John Isabel. His grandparents are Jim and Jo Ann Wagley and Mae Isabel. He is a 2007 Buchanan graduate who works at Praxair Distribution.

The couple will be married Aug. 4 in Dowagiac.

 

Hannewyk-Thompson

Holly Hannewyk and Chris Thompson of Niles announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Neil and Debbie Hannewyk of Niles. She is a 2005 American School graduate. Holly graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor of business administration in marketing in 2010 and is currently employed at NCP Coatings in the marketing department.

The groom-to-be is the son of Teri Ottinger of South Bend and Craig Thompson of Niles. He is a 2006 graduate of Niles High School. Chris is the environmental, health and safety director as well as the Mishawaka Division manager at NCP Coatings.

A June 2013 wedding is being planned and will be held in South Bend.

 

Unger-Duncan

Mary and Kenneth Duncan, of Niles, and Lyle Unger Sr., of Niles, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Jennifer Duncan and Lyle Unger Jr.

Jennifer is the favorite granddaughter of Mary and Kenneth, having resided in Niles her whole life with her amazing grandparents. She graduated from Niles High School in 2003. She received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in sociology in 2006. She received master’s degree in career and technical education from Ferris State University in 2010.

Lyle is the son of Lyle Sr., and has also lived in Niles all his life. He attended Niles High School and graduated in 1996. He received an associate degree in general studies in 1999 and an associate degree in applied science in 2001 from Southwestern Michigan College.
