Arrest made in theft

Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police have made an arrest in the breaking and entering of Village Automatics.
Chief Kenneth Wray said the break-in caused a total loss of about $200,000 to Village Automatics.
Arrested in this case on preliminary charges of possession of stolen property was a Joseph Rodick, of Edwardsburg, formerly of North Liberty, Ind.
Officers from the Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department, with assistance from North Liberty Indiana Police, Indiana State Police and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department Drug Team, worked extensively in making the apprehension of one suspect and others involved are still being sought.

There is a $5,000 reward offered by Village Automatics for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the crime.
