Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company presents “Love’s Labour’s Lost” at the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad St., St. Joseph, for one performance at 8 p.m. July 21.

Their performance is part of the Grand Haven-based Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company summer tour.

“Love’s Labour’s Lost” is a witty comedy in which the King of Navarre and the lords in his court take a vow to study for three years and not to see any women during that time.  Their vow is immediately threatened by a visit from the Princess of France and her ladies in waiting, who come to Navarre on an embassy from the French king. The court of Navarre becomes the backdrop for disguise, romantic intrigue, and a play-within-a-play as the King and his lords attempt to woo the ladies of France.

Pigeon Creek’s production, part of the company’s summer tour, features actors Kathleen Bode, Kilian Goodson, Brooke Heintz, Kat Hermes, Zachary Johnson, Scott Lange, Janna Rosenkranz, Sarah Stark, Joel L. Schindlbeck, Sarah Tryon, Joseph Valente and Chelsea Wojes.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets are available by calling (269) 983-3688 or online at www.boxfactory for the arts.org.
