Dowagiac Fine Arts Booster Club is sponsoring a its third Rubber Duckie Race during Summer in the City from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 26; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 27; 9 a.m. to noon July 28 downtown Dowagiac.

Ducks are $5 per duck. This is the DFABC’s biggest fundraiser of the school year, with 225 being sold last year.

The ducks will be floated down the Dowagiac Creek at Lions Park on South Front Street at 2 p.m. Saturday.

First prize is $125; second is $75; and third is $50. Ducks are on sale now; call Sharon at 782-7460. If no answer, please leave a message and she will get right back to you,

All funds go toward supplies for fine arts programs.

The next meeting for the Dowagiac Fine Arts Booster Club is at 6:30 p.m. July 24 at Pizza Hut in Dowagiac. Students and parents are welcome to participate in DFABC, which fundraises for fine arts in all the schools.
