Samantha Lawson and Gary Coons, of Dowagiac, are the parents of a son, born July 6, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces.

They are also the parents of a daughter, Isabelle Coons, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Maria Lawson and Jerry Lawson, of Dowagiac. Maternal great-grandmother is Oralia Mitchell, of Dowagiac.

Randi Rutkowski and Michael Luttrell, of Edwardsburg, are the parents of a son, Hunter Michael Luttrell, born Friday, July 6, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Michele Simrell, of Niles, and Randy and Dian Rutkowski, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Kathleen Collins, of Edwardsburg, and Michael Luttrell, of Cassopolis.

Maternal great-grandparents are Wilda VanLue, of Niles, and Carl and Elaine Loyd, of Mishawaka. Paternal great-grandparents are Barbara Rockwell, of Dowagiac, and Sandra and William Morse, of Marcellus.

Butrick-Davies

Melissa Davies and Brett Butrick, of Cassopolis, are the parents of a son, born July 12, 2012, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

The Butricks are also the parents of a daughter, Britney, 19 months.

Maternal grandparents are Scott and Sonya Davies, of Cassopolis. Paternal grandparents are Scott and Shelly Butrick, of Niles. Maternal great-grandparents are Christina Davies of Alabama. Paternal great-grandparents are Marsha Butrick, of Cassopolis.
