10U All-Stars finish third again

The Dowagiac 10U All-Star softball team finished third at the Coloma Tournament, which was completed recently.

It was the second time this summer that the team has grabbed a third place finish.

Dowagiac competed in the nine-team field, losing to host Coloma in the semifinals 13-8 and then rebounding to defeat Watervliet 19-11 in the consolation game.

The All-Stars will wrap up their tournament schedule in Stevensville beginning this weekend at the Lakeshore Tournament.

Dowagiac will face Buchanan at 5:30 p.m. in the opening round Friday.
