The Cass District Library is offering many free family programs for the public in July.

• “A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Kids” is a puppet show that will be at 2 p.m. July 10 at the Mason/Union Branch. It will also be offered at the Main Library at 6 the same evening. The show features a children’s version of the famous “fairy play” of Shakespeare. The show will be 45 minutes to an hour long. The Mason/Union Branch is located at 17049 U.S. 12, Edwardsburg.

• Meet horse trainer Amanda Pierce and Friday the Wonder Pony at 2 p.m. July 11 at the Mason/Union Branch. Pierce will share how she made her dream of working with horses come true. Learn the secret of how horses communicate. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on outside.

• “Wild About Books: Live Animals” will be coming to the library at 10 a.m. July 17 at the Edwardsburg Branch. Animals from different countries and diverse ecosystems will be shown. This program is up-close and hands-on. The Edwardsburg Branch is located at 26745 Church St., Edwardsburg.
