Martha Sexton, 58
Born: March 16, 1954
Died: June 29, 2012

Martha Jean Hensley Grabill Sexton, 58, of Edwardsburg, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on March 16, 1954, in Hyden, Ky., to William Henry and Iva Lee Begley Schuster Hensley. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded by two brothers, Sam Hensley and Charles Hensley.

Jean was energetic and loved life.

She loved her children and her grandchildren. She loved watching movies with the grandchildren like the “Toy Story” and “Shrek” series. By herself, she loved old Westerns. She loved to knit, crochet and sew. She loved family get-togethers and cookouts.

She hardly ever sat still and was constantly on the go, whether going fishing or going out to eat. She was the world’s best lasagna maker — one piece and you were stuffed.

Jean will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Felicia (Mark Rice) Grabill, of Elkhart, Ind., Tara (Josh Aaron) Sexton, of Elkhart; three sons, Fred (Bonnie) Sexton Jr., of Osceola, Ind., Christopher (Tracy) Grabill, of Niles, Marshall Joe Grabill Sexton, of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren, Tiara Brown, Natasha Sexton, Amber Flora, Josi Sexton, Ashley Flora, Mackenzie Fraschetti, Joe Joe Grabill, Megan Sexton, Zechariah Grabill, Riley Sexton, Kaitlin Sexton, Jackson Aaron, Lexi Grabill; three sisters, Mary (Charlie) Thrasher, of Edwardsburg, Nora (Levi) Miller, of Goshen, Ind., Peggy (Ivan) Griffin, of Millersburg, Ind.; brothers, Jeff (Joann) Hensley, of White Cloud, Bige (Brenda) Hensley, of Louisville, Ky.

Family and friends will gather starting at noon Saturday for a hog roast at the residence of Peggy and Ivan Griffin, 64245 State Road 13, Goshen (Millersburg), IN 46528.

The family prefers memorial contributions at Chiphone Federal Credit Union, 619 County Road 6 East, Elkhart, IN 46514, or any Chiphone location, to Fred Sexton for the benefit of Martha Jean Sexton, deceased.
