COA Grand Festival July 13

The Grand Festival returns to the Cass County Council on Aging at 2 p.m. July 13. The family-friendly event for grandparents and grandchildren features activities, games, entertainment, and a cookout dinner.
Games and activities run from 2 to 4 p.m.; a magic show will begin at 4 p.m.; and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Scheduled activities include hayrides, the Withers Choo Choo, traveling naturalist from Sarett Nature Center, a rock-climbing wall, jumping castle, balloon animals, petting zoo, child fingerprinting by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, crafts and games. Magician Alan Kazam will perform tricks and illusions for the crowd, and the cookout dinner will wrap up the day.
The event is free, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.  The Cass County Council on Aging Lowe Center is located at M-60 and Decatur Road in Cassopolis. Call 445-8110.
