Ann Burton, 79, of Decatur, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo.

Ann was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Logansport, Ind. to Ernest and Margaret (McCain) Mullin. She graduated from Niles High School in 1950 and attended Indiana University for two years and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was a founding member of the Decatur Study Club and West Valley Homemakers. She married Conrad L. Burton on June 8, 1952, in Camden, Ind. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cheryl A. Burton and her husband, Larry A. Sansoucie, of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Newell Funeral Home in Decatur with the Rev. Dr. Larry A. Sansoucie officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the Van Buren Regional Genealogical Society, Webster Memorial Library or the charity of the donor’s choice.
