Thomas Howard Meador Jr., 76, of Niles, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Huntington, W.Va. He lived in Niles most of his life.
Thomas was a sheet metal journeyman and also worked for Systems & Services of South Bend and Williams Home Center in Niles. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 20.
Thomas married Bonnie C. (Goldfuss) Meador on Oct. 2, 1956, in Niles. She survives in Niles.
Thomas is also survived by his sons, Al (Robin) Meador, Scott (Linda) Meador, Daniel (Konnie) Meador and Charles Meador; a daughter, Faith (Mike Sr.) Cameron; sisters, Marilee Joliff, Terrie Kemble, Toni Grisham and Andrea Anderson; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He also fostered 31 children.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. Sr. and Mary Thelma Meador, and two brothers, Ron and Bob.
Services will be at Bertrand Bible Church in Niles at 3 p.m. Friday, June 22, with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Bertrand Bible Church Cemetery in Niles.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
