The ninth annual Juneteenth celebration from noon to 3 p.m. Friday celebrates a continuing theme of collaboration through the county. The event, sponsored by the Minority Coalition of Cass County, Inc., will be held at the William J. Robinson Community Center, 18727 Mt. Zion St., Cassopolis. Along with a guest speaker, fish, chicken and other Southern side dish favorites will be served. Monetary donations will be accepted at the door.
