Herter, Bailey all-conference

The Dowagiac softball team landed a pair of players on each level of the All-Wolverine Conference squad, which was recently released.

Senior Sierra Herter and junior Rachel Bailey were first team selections for the Chieftains, while junior Kristyn Turner and freshman Kourtney Mitchell were second team selections.

Undefeated Wolverine Conference champion South Haven (16-0) dominated the first team with five selections, including former Dowagiac player Meghan Hojara.
