Daniel Shively, 24

Daniel “Daniel-san” Shively, 24, of Dyer, Ind., formerly of Dowagiac, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Danny was a mechanic who loved anything with wheels. He was an awesome son, father, friend, brother, uncle and nephew to all, and he will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Busick; children, Dylan, Chloe and Phoebe; mother, Mary Hmurovich; father, Vicente Santana; sisters, Jennevera Shively, Kristina Santana, Ashley Hmurovich; brother, Jon Hmurovich; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Hmurovich, and grandparents, Dwayne and Donna Shively.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at the Fagen Miller Funeral Home 1920 Hart St. Dyer. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, Ind. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
