DeLois Doyle, 62, of Cassopolis, passed away May 15, 2012, in Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo.

She was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Itta Bena, Miss., to Wilson and Clara (Gee) Doyle, the oldest of 10 children — seven girls and three boys.
Her parents preceded her in death as did one son, George Clark Jr.; two sisters, Carrie Doyle and Mary Doyle; and one brother, Perry Doyle.
DeLois was a very loving, outgoing person and a talented seamstress. She was very dedicated to God and her grandchildren. She also loved babysitting her two goddaughters, Kalina Bertman and Anilee Bertman, both of South Bend.
DeLois will be missed by relatives and friends alike. Left to mourn her passing are: three daughters, Marie Doyle of Cassopolis, Kathlyn Burnett of Louisville, Ky.; and Sherhonda Wares of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren, Deangelio Wicker Sr., of Elkhart, Demario Wicker and DelShawn Wicker, both of Cassopolis, George Clark III of Elkhart, LaToya Burnett, Andrea Burnett, Cupid Gentry, Randy Roby, Jakai Howard, Aunianna Burnett, all of Louisville, and Immanuel Bostic, Robbie McKnight, Joshua Harris, Sherman Harris and Jordan Harris, all of Elkhart; four sisters, Meala Doyle, Kalamazoo, Clara Doyle and Tina Doyle, both of Elkhart, and Lina Doyle of Tennessee; two brothers, David (Tavia) Doyle and Wilson Doyle, both of Elkhart; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered May 19 from 10 a.m. until time of her homegoing service at 11 a.m. in Connelly Chapel, Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis, with the Rev. Gloria Clark officiating.
Ms. Doyle was laid to rest next to her late son, George Clark II, in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis.
