Pet of the week/Kinsey

Published 3:47pm Thursday, May 17, 2012

Kinsey was put out into the world to fend for herself. Once she came to the shelter, she enjoyed all the comforts of home. Lots of good food, comfy beds and a nice dry spot to nap brought her to normal dog status. She was a thin, very mixed-breed dog. Now she has gained weight and looks wonderful. Kinsey resembles a gorgeous red chocolate lab with gold eyes. She is very lovable and affectionate. Kinsey has shown her passion for squeaky toys — preferably tossed by children! She is clean in her kennel — housebroken? She has great potential. Kinsey needs updating on shots and spaying soon to be on her way to greatness.
Last week’s dog adoptions included Sampson, Walter, Honey, Green Bean/Ally and two beagle puppies. Cat adoptions include Tommy, Callie and kittens White Sox and Kitty.

Kittens are arriving by the basketful, and puppies are starting to arrive.
