Nicklaus hosting youth clinic

BENTON HARBOR — The designer of the Golf Club at Harbor Shores will help kick off the 73rd Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid Tuesday.

Jack Nicklaus will conduct a golf clinic free of charge to ticket-bearing guests.

Nicklaus will host more than 100 juniors representing area organizations: the Boys and Girls Club of Benton Harbor; The First Tee of Benton Harbor; the Eau Claire High School boys varsity golf team; the YMCA of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph; the Benton Harbor Charter School; the Benton Harbor Dream Academy; the Benton Harbor High School boys varsity golf team; and the St. Joseph High School boys varsity golf team.

Harbor Shores, a 6,822-yard, par-71 Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, is part of the 530-acre Harbor Shores development that spans part of Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, and Benton Charter Township.
