Brandywine baseball team sweeps Bronson

The Brandywine baseball team stepped away from Lakeland Conference play and swept a doubleheader from visiting Bronson Tuesday.

The Bobcats got a four-hitter from Alex Erwin as they won the first game 15-4 in five innings.

Brandywine scored 10 runs early and then held on for a 10-8 win over the Vikings in the six-inning nightcap.

Kyle Duncan picked up the victory with Erwin earning the save.

In the opener, Erwin and Millin both doubled as the Bobcats finished with 11 hits.

Erwin also doubled in the second game as Brandywine made the most of just six hits.

Buck Bourdon added a triple for the Bobcats, who are now 13-10 on the season.
