K&M names 6 winners in scholarship program

K&M Machine-Fabricating, Inc. in Cassopolis has named six students who are the sons or daughters of K&M employees who will be awarded scholarships of $2,000.

Recipients from Dowagiac Union High School are Jeremy Juday, who is the son of Denise Juday (purchasing), and Taylor Meiser, who is the daughter of Bruce Meiser (welder).

Recipients from Niles High School are twin brothers, Seth Purucker and Taylor Purucker, who are the stepsons of Jeff Smuda (machine shop supervisor).

Kirstin Kreiger, a Watervliet High School senior, also is a recipient.  She is the daughter of Jacob Krieger (Welder).

The final recipient is  Evan Ramer, a Colon High School senior. He is the son of Andrew Ramer (CNC machinist).
