ST. JOSEPH — Four second half goals lifted St. Joseph to its first Big 16 Conference West Division soccer victory Wednesday.
The Bears led just 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Skylar Cooper in the 27th minute.
In the second half, Bailey Clark scored twice for the Bears, who also got goals from Courtney Jackson and Cassidy Helsley.
Laura Van Winkle had a pair of assists for St. Joseph, which held a 16-2 advantage in shots on goal over the Vikings.
Niles’ Eva Nemeth made 11 saves.
The loss drops the Vikings to 3-9-1 on the year and 0-6 in West Division play.
