Visiting Portage Northern swept a Big 16 Conference West Division baseball doubleheader from Niles Wednesday.

The Huskies and Vikings were making up Tuesday’s game.

Portage Northern won the first game 7-6 and then took the nightcap 3-2.

Niles’ Taylor Weldy was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in the first game. Matthew McLaughlin was 2-for-3 and Mitchell Dehn added a double and two RBIs.

In the nightcap, Weldy was 2-for-2.
