Carletta Van Dyke, of Niles, will celebrate her fifth birthday Sunday, May 6.

She is the daughter of Brandon Van Dyke and Rachel Patterson. Her maternal grandparents are Steve and Terry Patterson, of Edwardsburg, and Lisa Walter, of Mishawaka.
Her paternal grandparents are Douglas and Kathy Van Dyke, of Niles.
Great-grandparents are Don and Betty Kirkendall and Dennis and Pat Patterson, all of Niles.
Her maternal great-great-grandparents are Mary Patterson and Emma Jean Schrumpf, of Niles.
