Bobbie J. Jorgenson, 80, of Cassopolis, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Detroit on Dec. 4, 1931, to Kenneth and Houston (Kimbro) Steckenrider. She married Raymond Peter Jorgenson in Detroit on July 9, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded by one son, Eric Peter Jorgenson, in 2001.

Bobbie had a lot of people that she liked, but she really loved animals.
Bobbie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tom Jones of Northville; five grandchildren; and her friend and caretaker, Bonnie Loux of Cassopolis.
Family and friends gathered Wednesday, May 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis. Funeral services will be today at 11 a.m. in East Street Church of God, 68738 East Street (north of U.S. 12), Edwardsburg, with the Rev. Brian Ortmann officiating. Mrs. Jorgenson will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Raymond Jorgenson, in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Sumnerville.
