Mr. and Mrs. Jia (Rani) Sharma of St. Joseph and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Frances) Kiggins of Dowagiac announce the engagement of their daughter, Geeta Theresa Curtis, to Bradley Owen Yazel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom (Judi) Yazel of The Villages, Fla.

Ms. Curtis is a 1992 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School and attended Valley Forge
Christian College.  She is employed by Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac.
Mr. Yazel is a graduate of Bath High School in Lima, Ohio, the Ohio State University and the University Of Cincinnati College Of Mortuary Science.
He is the owner of Yazel and Clark Chapel in Dowagiac.
Together, they are the parents of Ian T. Yazel, Bradley O. Yazel Jr., Emma C. Yazel, Isaiah H. Yazel and Ian G. Curtis.
The couple plan a December 2012 wedding at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Sister Lakes.
