To what clubs/church do you belong? First Christian, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Arts

Education: Dowagiac Union High School, Southwestern Michigan College, Western Michigan University, Valparaiso University

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing? Something with animals or travel.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Pay off all my debt, give some to the church and an animal organization, buy my husband and myself new vehicles and put the rest away for retirement.

What’s something most people don’t know about you? I wish I would have became some sort of scientist so I could try to invent a way for crippled animals to walk.

Favorite food? Mashed potatoes and gravy with cottage cheese

Last book you read? “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter”

Favorite TV show? “The Amazing Race”

Where would you go on your dream vacation? I already went —  to Israel. Next would be the Galapagos Islands.

Pet peeve? People who live off the government because they are lazy or just keep procreating.

Best advice you ever got and who gave it to you? Don’t borrow or lend money to anyone — my mother.

What would you want on your tombstone? “Daughter of God, Mother to Lovie, the wonder dog — see ya in heaven!”
