COLOMA – Visiting Dowagiac bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 3-0 non-league soccer win over Coloma Friday.

The Chieftains (8-1-1) got a pair of goals in the first half.

Kelsie Primley opened the scoring in the 27^th minute off an assist from Lauren Krueger. Krueger then dented the back of the net about 10 minutes late to give Dowagiac a 2-0 halftime advantage.

Dowagiac capped with a goal by leading scorer Breanna Williams in the 51^st minute.

The Chieftains held an 11-2 advantage in shots on goal. Alyssa Fritz had two saves for Dowagiac.
