EDWARDSBURG — St. Joseph and Northridge captured the boys and girls championships at the Eddies Invitational Friday.

The Niles girls team finished second, while the boys team finished third. Host Edwardsburg was second in the boys portion of the meet.

The Vikings’ Brandon Partee captured the 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles with times of 15.20 and 41.64 respectively. He was also part of Niles’ winning 800-meter relay team along with Nick Knoll, Cicone Palmore and Ronnie Jones). That team ran a time of 1:33.28.

For the Niles girls team, Taylor Brandstatter captured the 400-meters with a time of 1:01.84. She was also a member of the winning 1,600-meter relay team along with Paige Chaffin, Chantal Baker and Lashonda Green. They ran a time of 4:14.78.

Ashley love captured the long jump with a leap of 15-9.5. Kara Smith won the shot put with a toss of 34-8.5.

Buchanan’s Brianna Dinneen won the 100-meters with time of 13.10 and the 200-meters with a clocking of 26.95.
