The Brandywine boys and girls track teams both finished second Wednesday.

The Bobcat boys fell to Eau Claire 109-104. River Valley was third with 35 points. The Brandywine girls finished second to River Valley (70-55.5). Eau Claire was third (37.5) and Countryside Academy fourth (26).

AJ Srmek and Courtlan Gordon were both three-time winners for the Brandywine boys squad.

Srmek was part of the Bobcats’ winning 800-meter relay team as well as taking first in the 300-meter hurdles and 100-meters. He was timed at 12.11 in the 100 and 43.71 in the 300 hurdles.

Nathan Anders, Gordon and Cody Brackett combined with Srmek to win the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:37.92.

Besides the relay, Gordon won the 200-meters (23.92) and was part of the winning 1,600-meter relay team along with Brackett, Brenton Schau and Mike Shelton. That unit posted a time of 3:51.00.

For the Brandywine girls team, Emilie Bush won the 100-meter hurdles (21.01), Emily Pedzinski won the high jump (4-0), Gabby Cauwenberghs won the pole vault (6-6) and Karli Covyeou won the discus (73-3.75).
