Edwardsburg increased its Lakeland Conference golf lead to two points with a victory at the Buchanan jamboree held at Orchard Hills Country Club Monday.

The Eddies defeated runner-up Coloam 185-189 to improve its point total to 20. The Comets are currently at 18 points with Bridgman in third with 15 and Cassopolis fourth with 13.

Edwardsburg, the defending conference champions, were led by Max Habicht, who shared medalist honors with Brandywine’s Alec DeJonge. Both golfer shot 42 in less than ideal conditions thanks to a howling wind and chilly temperatures.
