Vikings tennis team tops Lancers

STEVENSVILLE — Visiting Niles won three out of four singles flights and rallied to win a pair of three set matches to defeat Lakeshore 5-3 in Big 16 West Division tennis Wednesday.

Serenity Wagner dropped the first set at No. 3 singles 7-6, but won the next two 6-1 and 6-2 to defeat Mirna Sogush.

At No. 1 doubles, Paxton Schaller and Michelle Briand dropped the first set 7-6, but then won 6-4 and 6-3 over Amber Lape and Rachel Lange to help the Vikings to the victory.
