Niles girls third at Exchange Relays

STURGIS — The Niles girls track team finished third at the Sturgis Exchange Relays Saturday.
The Vikings grabbed four first place finishes.
Niles captured the shot put relay (Kara Smith, Emma Doud, McKenya Phelps), the long jump relay (Ashley Love, Chantel Baker, Lashonda Green), the 110 hurdle relay (Taylor Glenn, Paige Chaffin, Starr Ford, Maureen Craig), the sprint medley relay (Taylor Brandstatter, Chaffin, Green, Love) and the 800-meter relay (Brandstatter, Chaffin, Green, Love).
The high jump relay team of Miranda Baker, Green and Ford finished second, while the pole vault relay team of Allie Durm and Ford finished third.
The Niles boys track team finished fourth.
