The Dowagiac JV softball team swept visiting Lakeshore Monday afternoon.

The Chieftains scored a run in the bottom of the fifth to win the opening game 12-11. Dowagiac competed the sweep with a 15-5 win over the Lancers in four innings.

Carrie Raab took the win in the first game. Sabrina Ruiz was the winner in the nightcap.
