Dowagiac City Council bought a police car Monday.The department had been scheduled to replace two patrol cars in 2010, but “pushed out the replacement date until 2012 due to budget reductions,” according to Public Safety Director Tom Atkinson.
A 2012 Chevy Impala will be purchased from Berger Chevrolet in Grand Rapids for $20,981.
