Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan recently leased a building in Niles Township to serve as a donation center.
The 10,320 square-foot space at 2607 S. 11th St. will serve as a drop-off location for donated items, but it won’t be a store.
Jim Ringler, broker for Grubb & Ellis Cressy & Everett, represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.
Goodwill Industries is one of the largest providers of employment and training services in the world. With the newly leased space, Goodwill will supply nine retail outlets in the region.
Through the resale of goods donated by the community, Goodwill provides education and employment services to people throughout southwest Michigan.
Goodwill of Southwestern Michigan has been serving the community for more than 56 years.
