CASSOPOLIS — Cass County Board of Commissioners April 5 approved two cropland leases for Lawless Park with Joseph and Tina Young of 15711 Monkey Run St., Vandalia, for three years, through Feb. 1, 2015.

The total contract amount is $49,920 for an agreement covering 104 acres in Newberg and North Porter townships.

The other agreement, for a total contract amount of $31,080, covers 74 acres in Newberg Township.

Rental rates are $160 per acre and $140 per acre, respectively.
