Canoe author at DDL April 19

Dowagiac District Library and PBS-featured Michigan author Doc Fletcher will present his popular “Paddling Across Michigan” program at 7 p.m. April 19.
This hour-long photographic virtual journey down rivers selected from his books will give everyone the itch to hop in a canoe sometime this spring and find out what makes this activity so much fun.
Histories and funny stories about riverside towns will be shared, all from the vantage point of a kayak or canoe.
At the end of the program, Fletcher will sign copies of his books.
Fletcher is an award-winning Michigan author who always entertains his audiences. This program is free.
