Berrien County Mathematics and Science Center students will present re-search and demonstrate college-level lab techniques at 12:30 p.m. April 27 in Room A-107 at Chemistry Lecture Hall in Halenz Hall at Andrews University, 4270 Administration Drive in Berrien Springs.
This 2012 Building Excellence in Science and Technology (BEST) Early Research Symposium will showcase students as they present research, engage in discussions about their experience and demonstrate college-level lab techniques.
The event represents a capstone project for the BEST Early Research Pro- gram, providing a public showcase that emphasizes the research achievements of BCMSC seniors.
For more than 10 years, the BEST Early Research Program — which acts as an “incubator of innovators” — has been engaging high school students in high-level scientific re- search and discovery that allows them to become excited about science and to pursue scientific careers.
